Rohan Dennis back on top as BMC wins Team Time Trial

Rohan Dennis has recovered the leader's jersey in the Eneco Tour after helping BMC Racing Team win the Team Time Trial on Friday.

One of the last teams to be in action in the 20km TTT in Sittard-Geleen, the Netherlands, BMC set a time of 23'11" and were as such six seconds faster than Etixx-Quick Step, who had the best time until that moment.

Tinkoff, the team of leader Peter Sagan, did what they could to limit the damage but the Russian outfit finished in eighth position at 34 seconds from BMC and as such lost their top position in the General Classification to Dennis.

Etixx-Quick Step remained in second place, followed by Team LottoNL-Jumbo in third at 23 seconds from the stage winners.

In the overall standings, Rohan Dennis jumps back to the top after having occupied first place following the second and third stages. Teammate Taylor Phinney moves from tenth to second place at 16 seconds from Dennis, and German time trial specialist Tony Martin of Etixx-Quick Step is in third place at 24 seconds.
