MANUELE MORI
LAMPRE - MERIDA

Italian rider Manuele Mori has renewed his contract with TJ Sport (formerly Lampre-Merida) for two more seasons. The news was announced in Japan, a country where he has many fans and where he has achieved some of the highlights of his career so far.

The cyclist, for whom the next season will be his 16th as a professional, announced the news during an event organized by Shukoh CO for which he visited the factory of the company and spent some time with fans and media.

"I'm very happy to have received the appreciation from the team and to have signed a new contract and, even if the 2016 season has just ended, I can't wait to start the new one," Mori commented.

Mori added that he expects to share his experience with the newcomers in next year's squad. "The team for the next year will be characterized by big enthusiasm and there will be many young talented riders: my experience and my work will be for them."

The rider's palmares includes several top-ten spots in races like the Japan Cup, Milan-San Remo, Giro del Piemonte, Tirreno-Adriatico and the Czech Cycling Tour.
