Andre Greipel leads Lotto-Soudal's squad for Tour de France

Lotto-Soudal has made its selection for the upcoming Tour de France. The Belgian squad will have a mix of experience and new talent to try to go for stage victories.

The roster will be led by André Greipel who will have his seventh participation in the Grande Boucle. The rider has taken 22 stage victories in Grand Tours, 11 of which have happened in the Tour de France, and will try to increase that number in this race.

He will have the company of his friend Marcel Sieberg, who will be starting for the eighth time. Also, Adam Hansen will be in his 25th Grand Tour and this could be the eighteenth in a row that he finishes.

The Dane Lars Bak will be riding his seventh Tour de France and will be in charge of setting the pace to catch breakaways so Greipel can sprint for the win.

The winner of last year's Mount Ventoux stage, Thomas De Gendt will also be back, along with Tony Gallopin who has already worn the yellow jersey and got a stage victory.

Other riders in the squad will be Jürgen Roelandts, who will turn 32 on the day of the second stage, Tim Wellens and Tiesj Benoot, who will have his debut in a Grand Tour.
