TOUR DE FRANCE

The 2017 edition of the Tour de France will consist of 21 stages with a total length of 3,540 kilometers. This is an overview of all stage profiles.

The race begins with an individual time trial in the city of Dusseldorf in Germany on July 1 and finishes, as is tradition, on the Champs Elysees in Paris on July 23.

Climbing fans won't have to wait as long as has been the case in previous years as the first summit finish already awaits on day 5. Most of the major mountain stages however, will feature downhill finishes.
