Movistar's Nairo Quintana finished the 10th stage of the Tour de France safely inside the peloton and didn't want to comment much on his form.

The main objective on the day for the leader of the Spanish squad was simply to arrive safely to the finish line. "It was again a very fast stage in which we just rode to see if we could rediscover the good sensations and I've been trying to take the best out of the day," the rider said at the end of the stage.

Quintana had a very difficult ninth stage of the French Grand Tour in which he finished behind the group of the favourites and losing time to leader Chris Froome. Asked whether the rest day helped him feel better, the Colombian assured that today was a better stage for him.

"I feel good. It was a flat stage that we knew was going to finish in a bunch sprint and well, I don't want to say anything about my form," he replied.

Quintana is now in the 8th position in the General Classification of the race, at 2 minutes and 13 seconds from the Sky leader.
