Trek-Segafredo's Alberto Contador suffered two crashes during the eleventh stage of the Tour de France, but he is very motivated to fight until the end.

The Spaniard suffered a crash in the feeding zone, in which Jakob Fuglsang and Dario Cataldo of Astana were also involved, and another when his teammate Michael Gogl had a bike problem and fell just ahead of him. "It has been a complicated day," said the rider at the end of the stage.

"One of those days when you don't know how it will turn out to be and at the end I ended up on the floor. I have never believed in bad luck, but this Tour is pushing me to the limit, even psychologically."

Contador admits that things aren't going well in the race and today's crashes put an end to the idea of attacking in the Pyrenees. "This didn't help, now we will have to wait to the Alps. But my motivation is always high, particularly because of all the people that show me their support."

After today's crashes, in which he suffered a hard hit to the hip, the rider has already had four painful crashes in the race. But 'el Pistolero' still believes he can do something in the Tour. "If someone thinks that I will give up, they don't know me enough."
