Nairo Quintana of Movistar Team believes that the 12th stage of the Tour de France on Thursday may give him a chance to make a difference for the General Classification.

The Colombian is currently placed 8th at 2 minutes and 13 seconds from race leader Chris Froome (Team Sky) and he plans to make a move on Thursday. "I am not far from the podium and I don't lose hope," he told Marca at the end of the 11th stage.

"We will see what happens tomorrow and how the legs are feeling. For now, I feel fine and I hope to recover a bit more."

The rider had difficulties during the last mountain stages, but he hopes it doesn't happen again in the Pyrenees. "If I feel strong, I will attack, but we will see. Tomorrow we will see who is ahead. It could be that someone fails and I feel good," the Colombian commented.

Quintana finished the 11th stage without problems and with good feelings. "The idea was to stay on the bike, waiting for the body to be optimal. We saved the day, the team worked very hard considering the possibilities of hard winds. We were focused, and we arrived at the end without problems," he affirmed.
