Cannondale-Drapac's Rigoberto Uran has talked to the media about his possibilities of winning the Tour de France and the way he will face this third week.

The Colombian doesn't think he is the underdog in the current standings. "We all have the same possibilities," he said to the media during the rest day of the French Grand Tour.

The rider is already looking forward to the 20th stage, one day before the Champs-Elysees. "The time trial in Marseille is short, but it can make a difference. I can do a good time trial, I have won some and I can defend myself in them. With the shape I am in, I hope to do a good time trial on Saturday," he commented.

For the third week of riding, Uran thinks that it is important to keep the focus despite the tiredness. "I have learned that you can never be too relaxed. There is still some terrain to go and you can feel that we're in the third week. It is important for me to see where I am and try to keep the concentration like the two weeks before. I've been riding for eleven years, I know all the rivals and their ways of riding."

Uran knows that he is in a very select group of riders at the top of the overall standings at La Grande Boucle. "(Chris) Froome is very good and yesterday he showed it because he had a puncture and he managed to get back to the main group. he made a big effort. (Fabio) Aru is a young rider with experience that has already won races like the Vuelta a España. (Romain) Bardet too. With this group of riders it is difficult to predict how everyone will finish."
