Movistar Team has extended the contracts of Nelson Oliveira, Jorge Arcas and Antonio Pedrero to keep them at the Spanish formation in 2018.
Nelson Oliveira has formed part of Movistar's roster since 2016 after previously having represented teams like RadioShack and Lampre-Merida.
The Portuguese rider is a strong time trialist, having won the national title four times. He also won the Portuguese road race in 2014 and took a stage victory at the 2015 Vuelta a España.
Arcas, 25, joined Movistar in 2016 after spending five years as an amateur at Lizarte. During that time, he won a stage in the Vuelta a Navarra and finished second in the Vuelta Ciclista a Leon. Movistar has secured the rider's services to strengthen its capacities in the mountains and time trials, it said in a statement released on Friday.
Pedrero, also 25 years old, made the same move from Lizarte to Movistar in 2016 after having won the overall classification of the Vuelta a Navarra in 2014 and finishing third in the Tour de Guadeloupe a year later.
Just like Arcas, Pedrero was signed to improve Movistar's possibilities in the mountains.
