Orica-Scott Sports Director Neil Stephens believes that everything is going according to plan as all three of the team's leaders continue to compete for the overall classification.
With six of 21 stages down, Esteban Chaves and the Yates brothers are all in the top 10 with the Colombian even occupying second place at just a few seconds from race leader Chris Froome.
Talking to CyclingPub, Stephens explained that nothing really changed in the team's approach for this race and that it will continue to bet on all three of its leaders.
"It's basically the same as after we finished the team time trial. We're in a good position, we're around the mark. So why not keep on going, betting on all of them," he said.
The Australian expected a tough challenge on the seventh day of the Vuelta, with a stage leading from Lliria to Cuenca.
"It won't be calm. It's gonna be hot, it's gonna be a little windy," he predicted. "It will be a really demanding stage. It's a stage that could get taxing and complicated so we have to be on our toes and hopefully get through the stage unscathed."
