Stefan Denifl of Aqua Blue Sport handed his team a famous win by finishing first in the 17th stage of the Vuelta a España.
Denifl formed part of the original breakaway and was the last man standing to take the win ahead of Alberto Contador (Trek-Segafredo).
"First of all I want so say hello to my girlfriend and my little boy, I think they were watching at home and the win of today is for my boy," the Austrian said.
"I can't believe it. I had super legs today. I've been waiting the whole Vuelta for this day. I've been pacing myself for the whole Vuelta and today I went all in. It's just amazing. I'm over the moon.
"You always have to believe you're going to win. When I felt my legs I though 'Oh my God, this legs are super good' and I just kept on pushing. The climb was perfect for me, it had some flat parts in between for recovery. This is the best day in my cycling life."
