Three-times World Champion Peter Sagan has explained in a press conference in Tirol, Austria, that he is not racing anymore for the rest of the season.

The rider appeared at a press conference in Tirol, Austria, to present the new 'Alban Lakata Mountainbike-Trail', in which he commented that the podium ceremony of the road race in Bergen was the last time this season that the public sae the Rainbow Jersey in action.

"I'm going home," Sagan commented. "I will enjoy as much as possible with my family. During the season, I'm always away and traveling around the world. Now I want to be home and prepare for the baby's arrival."

The World Champion and his wife Katarina are expecting their first child, which is expected to be born between the end of October and the beginning of November.

When asked about his objectives for the new season, the Slovak stated that he is not going to think about it anytime soon. "I want to celebrate this victory without thinking about sports or the new season. It doesn't matter at the moment if Milan-San Remo or Paris-Roubaix is my new objective. I will think about it next year."
