The 101st edition of the Giro d'Italia will be presented this Wednesday and four riders will make an appearance as special guests.

The winner of the 2017 edition of the race, Tom Dumoulin, will attend the presentation of the 2018 route along with two times winners Vincenzo Nibali and Alberto Contador, and Italian rider Fabio Aru who finished second in 2015 and third in 2014.

The presentation of the 101st edition of the Italian Grand Tour will take place at 5 in the afternoon CET and will be available in streaming through the website of the Giro d'Italia and Italian broadcaster RAI2.

It has been rumoured that the course of the race that will start in Israel will have at least two Time Trials, which would make it suitable for specialists like Dumoulin and four-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome.
