LottoNL-Jumbo will have Steven Kruijswijk and Dylan Groenewegen as its main men for the 2018 Tour de France. The announcement was made during the team presentation in the Netherlands.

"I and the team have decided for the Tour de France," said Kruijswijk after the presentation. "We think that this year we have a good chance for a good race and to score a good classification."

The last time the rider was in the Tour de France was in 2015 and since then he has participated instead in the Giro d'Italia, in which he was close to the overall win in 2016 but a crash took him off the podium.

Groenewegen, who won the Champs Elysees stage in the 2017 Tour de France will be back to try to get stage victories at final sprints.

Robert Gesink announced that he will ride the Giro d'Italia and the Tour de France where he will go for stage victories rather than the General Classification fight.

During the presentation, it was also announced that Groenewegen and Primoz Roglic, who also won a stage at the Tour de France, have extended their contracts until 2020.
