U23 World Champion Benoit Cosnefroy ready to face WorldTour at Abu Dhabi

The French team is set to field four French riders for the third WorldTour event of the year, as well as three riders from other nationalities.
One of the French riders to make an appearance this year is the current U23 World Champion Benoit Cosnefroy, who will ride his maiden WorldTour race after joining the team in 2017.
"I have been satisfied with my start to the season," the 23-year-old said. "Actually, I have no benchmark by which to go, since this is my first time starting the year with the pros.
"I did not really know how I was going to digest the winter activities that followed my world title, and the appearance requests that I had. I am very pleased that I have had the chance to enjoy my teammates’ victories twice already this season (Tony Gallopin at the Etoile de Besseges and Alexandre Geniez at the Tour de Provence).
"I did my job, I helped defend the jersey, which was something I had never had the chance to do, and I feel very good physically. In Abu Dhabi, I will continue to do my job for my leaders to the best of my abilities, and continue to accumulate experience."
