German WorldTour formation Team Sunweb may ends its partnership with equipment supplier Giant despite having a contact until 2020.

This was reported by Dutch newspaper Algemeen Dagblad on Tuesday. According to the writers of the article (including Thijs Zonneveld, author of the much debated book about Thomas Dekker), the collaboration between the team and Giant hasn't been at its best.

Sunweb, supposedly, would like to see more innovation from the side of Giant, while the supplier is happy with the way things are right now.

Giant joined the team as a name sponsor in 2014, then forming Giant-Shimano. After two seasons as team Giant-Alpecin, the company took a step back and removed itself from the name of the team.

The article claims that Sunweb may be looking at Canadian brand Cervelo as a potential replacement.

In addition, Sunweb is reportedly in advanced negotiations with professional service company KPMG, which has its headquarters near Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
