The 2018 edition of the Deutschland Tour is set to have the participation of 22 teams, including eleven of the WorldTour level.

Ten years after its last edition, the German race returns to the calendar at the 2.1. level. Teams like Bora-hansgrohe, Sunweb and Katusha-Alpecin will be at the relaunch of the race with some top-level competitors.

Riders like André Greipel (Lotto-Soudal), Pascal Ackermann (Bora-hansgrohe), Max Walscheid (Sunweb), Marcel Kittel, Rick Zabel and Tony Martin (Katusha-Alpecin) will be starting in the race that is set to take place from the 23rd to the 26th of August.

A total of 22 teams of six riders will take place in the competition, including eleven WorldTour teams, seven UCI Professional Continental and four German continental squads.
