Wanty-Groupe Gobert has made its final choice of riders for the upcoming Tour de France. The Belgian team goes to the grand tour with the objective of showing itself in all the terrains.

The team will be among the 22 squads that will be at the French race for the second consecutive year. It has selected riders that can perform in all areas: in the sprint, in hilly stages and the high mountains.

"In general, Wanty-Groupe Gobert wants to be for three weeks like last year: offensive and combative," said general manager Jean-Francois Bourlart. "The team has prepared the Tour carefully and appears in its best condition at the start.

"Our priority is to protect Guillaume Martin and to lead him to the Alps in the best possible position. After that, it is up to Guillaume on his favourite terrain, the high mountains. Guillaume is just like us, ambitious, and so we will do everything we can to surpass the 23rd place of his debut."

Complete line-up of Wanty-Groupe Gobert for the Tour de France (7th to 29th of July):

Thomas Degand
Timothy Dupont
Guillaume Martin
Marco Minnaard
Yoann Offredo
Andrea Pasqualon
Dion Smith
Guillaume Van Keirsbulck
