Canyon-SRAM is ready to start at the 2018 Giro Rosa. The team will have an all-around team that can tackle each of the terrains that the race offers.

The team will start in the race with the newly crowned Belarusian road and team trial champion Alena Amialiusik, as well as the Italian favourite Elena Cecchini. "For sure our team will be racing aggressive," said Cecchini. "We have a strong group and the Giro Rosa offers chances to all types of riders. We have two good climbers, two strong sprinters and three all-rounders that can step into any role.

"All of the GC women will be looking at Monte Zoncolan but I can assure everyone that it will not be the only hard climb in the Giro Rosa! This year the course is really challenging, so every stage is set to be hard and it will create a spectacular race! Personally, I'm looking forward to racing the last two stages which will be on my home soil."

The Barnes sisters, Alice and Hannah, will also be part of the team and the latter can profit, after taking the speciality title in Britain, by the two time trials that are part of the race: the opening stage team time trial and an uphill individual time trial of the seventh stage.

Canyon-SRAM's line-up for the Giro Rosa (6th to 15th of July):

Alena Amialiusik
Elena Cecchini
Alice Barnes
Hannah Barnes
Tiffany Cromwell
Alexis Ryan
Kasia Niewiadoma
