Tom Dumoulin (Sunweb) has finished the 18th stage of the Tour de France in the second position of the General Classification, despite other factors being at play.

The Dutchman was clearly frustrated about the way things turned out at the stage, not only because he was unable to launch stronger attacks, but also because of the race motorcycles driving where they shouldn't have to be and causing a draft that allegedly helped Primoz Roglic.

"Primoz (Roglic) was the strongest man and this was a nice victory," he commented to the media at the end of the stage. "But he rode away from us on a straight stretch and I was fully sprinting and couldn't get one metre closer.

"Primoz couldn't help it, he just sat on his tube and kept going, but the motorcycle should have been behind us. I'm really sick of it, it doesn't make sense."
