Julian Alaphilippe and Bob Jungels are set to start in the Clasica San Sebastian just days after finishing the Tour de France. The riders will join the leadership of Quick-Step Floors in the Spanish race.

The only Spanish WorldTour race of one day features eight categorised climbs that make it suitable for climbers and puncheurs. Alaphilippe, who took the Polka Dot jersey at the Tour de France, and Jungels expect to keep the good form of the Grande Boucle in the race.

"San Sebastian is an iconic and beautiful race, but also a hard one with a very tough final," said Sports Director Wilfried Peeters. "We hope to have a few cards to play on Saturday if everything goes well. Julian and Bob have enjoyed an impressive Tour de France and they could be in contention.

"The rest of the team will come across from Wallonie, where they rode a strong race and were always up there, so the signs are good, especially as they all came after an altitude training camp. It’s never easy to win a race, and this one is no exception, especially with the depth of the field, but we are going to the start very motivated and confident."

Quick-Step Floors' complete roster for the Clasica San Sebastian (4th of August):

Julian Alaphilippe
Kasper Asgreen
Rémi Cavagna
Bob Jungels
James Knox
Jhonnatan Narvaez
Pieter Serry
