Juan Sebastian Molano signs deal with UAE Team Emirates

Colombian young talent Juan Sebastian Molano has inked a deal with UAE Team Emirates. The rider signed a deal for the 2019 and 2020 seasons.
The rider, who just won the first stage of the Tour of Taihu Lake, has been in the team Manzana Postobon since 2016. With the Colombian formation, he has achieved results as the overall win of the 2018 Tour of China and victories at the road race of the Pan American Championships and in stages of races like the Volta ao Alentejo and the Vuelta Ciclista a la Comunidad de Madrid.
"To be part of a team like UAE Team Emirates is a dream come true in my career," said Molano. "To get to this point means that my hard work is paying off, and for that reason, I feel calm and motivated, ready to give my best possible in the team.
"The year was intense. A crash in the Tour de Langkawi stopped me for two months, but I was able to recover well. Thanks to UAE Team Emirates for this opportunity, I know Matxin well and I’m sure that I’ll fit right in the team."
