Dutch rider Marjolein van 't Geloof signs with Ale-Cipollini

Ale-Cipollini has announced the signing of Marjolein van 't Geloof. The Dutch rider arrives to the Italian formation after one season in Lotto Soudal Ladies.
The 22-year-old just finished her first season as a professional rider in which she achieved top-ten results in races like the Omloop van de Westhoek, the EPZ Omloop van Borsele, the Rabobank 7-Dorpenomloop Aalburg, the Flanders Ladies Classic and the Trofee Maarten Wynants, among others.
Van 't Geloof will join her fellow countrywoman Karlijn Swinkels at the Italian formation, who recently renewed her contract and won the Criterium race in Belgium Keusdenkoers.
"I'm really thankful that Alé Cipollini took me in the team," the Dutch rider commented. "I hope to be learning a lot from the other riders in the team. This will be my second year at the World Tour level and I hope to get better in the bigger races and help the team as much as I can."
Fortunato Lacquaniti, Team Manager of Ale-Cipollini, welcomed this signing. "Marjolein is a young athlete with an important future, who could demonstrate her qualities in her first year as an Elite cyclist," he said.
"She will be a very precious element with all her new teammates in the season 2019 for Alè - Cipollini."
