Manzana Postobon has confirmed Bryan Gomez as the third sprinter signed for the 2019 season. The Colombian will be a part of a fast trident that includes Luis Carlos Chia and Jordan Parra.

The 23-year-old has spent most of his professional career in the United States, most recently in Holowesko-Citadel in the 2018 season. The rider has a palmares that includes top-ten positions in races like Quad Cities, the Gateway Cup, the Joe Martin Stage Race Internacional, the North Star GP and the Vuelta del Valle.

Gomez also took the gold medal for Colombia at the team pursuit at the South American Games of Cochabamba, Bolivia. "We know that the bar has been left very high because the team has had a phenomenal season," the rider commented. " I hope to bring all the experience that I have obtained in the United States and at international races to keep giving victories to Manzana Postobon.

"The team has signed several fast men like Chia and Jordan and I get along well with them, which I think is very important. In addition, this is a young team in which all of us have the intentions to keep developing."
