Movistar's Nairo Quintana has confirmed that he will start at the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España. The announcement was made during the team's presentation in Madrid.

Quintana doesn't give up on his dream of winning the French grand tour and in 2019 he will share the leadership of the team in the race with Mikel Landa. "I have unfinished business with the Tour and I will keep working towards achieving that goal," said the Colombian at the team's presentation.

"I want to prepare well, get confidence and we already know how to work towards a goal of the team and mine. We will try once again, we will insist."

Quintana has been close to taking the final victory at the race, he finished second in 2013 and 2015 and has his hopes set on the 2019 edition of the race. "I can win the Tour and I have been close, but it is true that certain factors have to work out as well," he explained.

"There is the case of Geraint Thomas, who tried several years and even with a leader ahead of him knew how to take advantage of the situation. We don't know what can happen, I need health and luck."
