Jaime Roson receives four-year suspension and Movistar breaks his contract

Movistar has been notified by the UCI of the sanction of four years for its rider Jaime Roson. The Spaniard was suspended by his team last June due to abnormal values in his biological passport.
The UCI has notified of a four-year suspension for the Spanish rider due to abnormal values in his biological passport dating of January of 2017. Due to this notification, Movistar Team has taken the decision of finishing the contract of Roson, after it had already suspended its work relationship with him in June of 2018.
Roson had been suspended provisionally by the UCI and his sanction of four years has been confirmed on the 15th of February.
Movistar also emphasised in the fact that the irregular values in his passport occurred on the year before he joined the team at the beginning of 2018.
