Dimension Data to play two cards in Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne

Dimension Data has announced its line-up for the opening weekend of the Classic Season. The African team has chosen its roster for Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.
The team will include the defending champion of the Omloop Het Nieuwsblad Michael Valgren, who will have a strong team behind him. The team will also play another card with Edvald Boasson Hagen, who has shown his good form at the start of the season in the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana, where he won the opening individual time trial and wore the leader's jersey for three stages.
"It is great to be heading into the opening weekend as the defending champion of Omloop Het Nieuwsblad," commented Valgren. "Having the number 1 race bib will be special and it will bring back some good memories from last year, but now this weekend is also a new race.
"I know I have done the work and prepared well for this year's classics season. It's so difficult to win any of these classics but we are going to try and getting off to a good start this weekend will be great, for me and our team."
The two Belgian races will be completely different from the weather the peloton has been experiencing in the Spanish and Portuguese races, and rain and wind are expected to spice things up for the classics.
