Ben King and Michael Valgren to captain Dimension Data at Strade Bianche

Dimension Data is ready to face the gravel roads of Strade Bianche with a strong roster that has Ben King and Michael Valgren as its main men.
The Italian classic is already considered one of the most iconic of the season and the African team is ready to tackle it with a versatile line-up. King has his European base at just over an hour drive from Siena, which makes it almost a home race for the American and certainly a race in which he's familiar with the roads.
Valgren has only started at Strade Bianche once before but he has shown that he has what it takes to get the victory of a one-day race. Depending on the way the race develops, the Danish rider can be a valuable card for the team.
"Strade Bianche is one of the most beautiful races of the year," said King. "It's my first time racing it. I love training on gravel and so I'm excited to try these sectors in a race.
"Not only that but it's close to my European home, Lucca, so my wife and friends will be there to cheer. Our team is strong and hungry."
