Oliver Naesen will lead AG2R La Mondiale at the E3 BinckBank Classic and Gent-Wevelgem. The Belgian rider has shown his good shape in the last races and hopes to continue his momentum in the next competitions.

Naesen finished in the second position of Milano-Sanremo, just behind Julian Alaphilippe, and in the last stage of Paris-Nice, showing that he has what it takes to win one of the next races. Silvan Dillier will be one of the men to support the ambitions of the rider in the two upcoming Belgian races.

"My crash at Tirreno-Adriatico was no big deal," the Swiss commented. "All is well and I am ready to return to the cobbled classics!

"When I see Oliver taking second place in Milan San-Remo, it just makes me want to relive those moments again in Belgium! And most importantly, it can trigger a positive momentum for the entire team. The E3 is really a great race, a kind of mini Tour of Flanders. Aside from the monuments, I think it's one of the most beautiful races during the entire spring.

"All winter, I prepare for this period of racing. The preparation is finished, and now I'm ready; the whole team is super motivated. Now off to Belgium!"

AG2R La Mondiale's roster for the E3 BinckBank Classic and Gent Wevelgem (29th and 31st of March):

Oliver Naesen
Julien Duval
Silvan Dillier
Gedimonas Bagdonas
Dorian Gordon*
Stijn Vandenbergh
Nico Denz

For Gent-Wevelgem, Gordon will be replaced by Clement Venturini.
