Jumbo-Visma's Dylan Groenewegen has won the second edition of the revamped Driedaagse Brugge-De Panne. The Dutchman outsprinted Fernando Gaviria and Elia Viviani.

The peloton faced a 200-kilometre route that included five climbs and six cobblestone sectors. Six riders formed the escape of the day and included names like Jasha Sütterlin, Adriel Garel and Mathijs Paasschens.

Teams like Katusha, Jumbo-Visma, Sunweb and UAE Team Emirates took the lead of the pack to maintain the escape at hand and force a final sprint. The front group was at the end caught with 20 kilometres to go, as the pack prepared for a fast final.

At 10 kilometres from the end, there was a massive crash that affected riders like Jens Keukeleire (Lotto Soudal), Mads Pedersen (Trek-Segafredo) and Pascal Ackermann (Bora-hansgrohe), while the rest of the remaining pack continued to prepare the sprint trains for the fast men.

The first rider to launch the final sprint was Deceuninck-Quick-Step's Elia Viviani but he couldn't keep up with Jumbo-Visma's Dylan Groenewegen. The Dutchman won the sprint easily and was followe by UAE Team Emirates' Fernando Gaviria, Viviani, Cofidis' Nacer Bouhanni and Wallonie-Bruxelles' Justin Jules.
