UAE-Team Emirate's Alexander Kristoff added Gent-Wevelgem to his one-day races palmares. The rider beat John Degenkolb and Oliver Naesen to the finish line of the Belgian classic.
The former Norwegian and European champion already had an impressive palmares with victories in one-day races like Milano-Sanremo, the Scheldeprijs and the Tour of Flanders. He has confirmed that he still has what it takes to take wins at the Belgian race.
