Edvald Boasson Hagen to lead Dimension Data in Dwars door Vlaanderen

Edvald Boasson Hagen is set to be the leader of Dimension Data at Dwars door Vlaanderen. The Norwegian will be backed up by a strong roster to improve from the fourth position he got in 2018.
This will be the second time that Boasson Hagen starts at the Belgian race and his aim will be to improve from last year's result. The competition will be 182.8 kilometres long and will include twelve climbs and six cobblestone sectors, which makes it a challenging course.
Reinardt Janse van Rensburg will be there to support the leader's intentions of good positioning. "Being on much the same roads, it is the last preparation going into the Ronde on Sunday, but it doesn’t mean it is any easier and also a race that everyone would like to win," he commented.
"The weather prediction is not great, which always makes it even harder. I am looking forward to this 'mini-Flanders', and we hope to chase a good result here, after a hard weekend for the team.
