Parkhotel Valkenburg's Sofie De Vuyst has taken the victory at the Brabantse Pijl. The Belgian rider was the fastest at the reduced final sprint of the race.

The Belgian race had a start and finish in Gooik and took the riders through a 136.7-kilometre route that included six climbs and several cobblestone sectors. Several teams, including Sunweb, did everything they could to make the race harder in the first half of the race, which included most of the climbs of the race.

This managed to break the peloton until only 12 riders managed to stay in front, and CCC-Liv's Marianne Vos tried to bridge but it was impossible for her to do it. The last cobblestone sector of the race left only nine riders in front and despite the efforts of Sunweb of setting a high pace for Coryn Rivera but De Vuyst showed to have the better legs and crossed the finish line ahead of Valcar Cylance's Marta Cavalli and the American champion.

Astana's Elena Pirrone and Sunweb's Floortje Mackaij completed the top-five of the day.
