Canyon-SRAM is set to start in the Amstel Gold Race with the same roster as the Tour of Flanders. Alexis Ryan will return to the race after finishing in the fifth position in 2018.

The team is ready for the final week of the spring classics and will face first the Amstel Gold Race with the exact same line-up as the one that started in the Tour of Flanders. The seventh appointment of the UCI Women's WorldTour will be 126.8 kilometres long and features a route that includes 19 climbs, being the last one at just 1.8 kilometres from the finish line.

Ryan will return to the Dutch race after crossing the finish line in the fifth position in 2018. "I had a great race at Amstel last year," she commented. "I was in the break for 70km and crossed the line in 5th place, completely spent. I’ve been aiming for this race since I crossed the line last year.

"I spent a lot of time in the Limburg region as a junior and have many great memories. The roads are small and technical, the climbs are short and steep—the kind of riding I love most. Amstel combines everything I admire about cycling with an amazing spectator atmosphere."

Canyon-SRAM's line-up for the Amstel Gold Race (21st of April):

Alena Amialiusik
Elena Cecchini
Tiffany Cromwell
Lisa Klein
Kasia Niewiadoma
Alexis Ryan
