Manzana Postobon's Juan Jose Amador Castaño has been notified by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) of an Adverse Analytical Finding (AAF) for Boldenone. This is the second AAF for riders of the Colombian team in 2019.

The sample was collected during an out-of-competition control held on the 22nd of October of 2018. "Juan José Amador Castaño’s AAF constitutes the second AAF for a member of the UCI Professional Continental Team Manzana Postobon within a twelve-month period," said the UCI in a statement.

"On 5 April 2019, the UCI notified the Colombian rider Wilmar Andres Paredes Zapata of an AAF for Erythropoietin (EPO) in a sample collected during an out-of-competition control held on 27 February 2019. These two cases within the same twelve-month period trigger the application of article 7.12.1 of the UCI Anti-Doping Rules providing for the suspension of the Team from 15 days to 45 days."

Amador Castaño has been provisionally suspended until the resolution of the case. The same situation was announced for the Colombian Alex Norberto Cano Ardila (Coldeportes Zenu), who was notified of an Anti-Doping Rule Violation (Use of a prohibited substance) based on abnormalities detected in his Biological Passport.
