Deceuninck-Quick-Step is ready to face the Hammer Series Limburg. The Belgian team already took the victory of this leg of the competition in 2018.

A roster that mixes youth and experience will tackle the second part of the Hammer Series, after the competition in Stavanger. The Limburg leg will kick off with the Hammer Climb, continue with the Hammer Sprint and finish with the Hammer Chase, a 49.6 kilometre-long team time trial.

"I think we are going to be the most vulnerable on the first day – it will be hard, with two tough sections and no time to recover, so maybe only Remco and Michael can take points and hold a good position," commented sports director Tom Steels.

"Our chances will increase for the second event, where we hope to repeat our Stavanger win. Then, with Dries joining us on the last stage, we have a really strong team to get a good result in the TTT."

Deceuninck-Quick-Step's line-up for Hammer Limburg (7th to 9th of June):

Dries Devenyns
Remco Evenepoel
Fabio Jakobsen
Yves Lampaert
Davide Martinelli
Michael Mørkøv
