Nairo Quintana and Mikel Landa to lead Movistar in Tour de France

Movistar team has announced that Nairo Quintana and Mikel Landa will lead the roster for the 2019 Tour de France. The Spanish formation has chosen a strong squad to fight for the General Classification.
The team will start in its 37th consecutive participation in the Grande Boucle, which makes it the most experienced formation to be in the Grand Depart in Brussels. Quintana and Landa have been preparing for this appointment of the season and will be the main man for the Spanish squad.
The Colombian will start in the race for the sixth time and he has been preparing in his home country to face the competition in the best conditions possible. The rider has taken two stage victories in the French race, won the Youth classification twice, topped the mountains classification in 2013 and has stood three times on the final podium.
Landa will be at the start line of the French grand tour for the fourth time in a row and this year after finishing just out of the podium of the Giro d'Italia. The two riders will have World and newly crowned Spanish champion Alejandro Valverde next to them to tackle the second grand tour of the season.
