Bora-hansgrohe is starting in the Tour de France with three leaders: Peter Sagan, Emanuel Buchmann and Patrick Konrad. The three riders will have a different job within the team for the race.

The German team is ready to start in the 106th edition of the French grand tour and will do that with a strong team headlined by Sagan, Buchmann and Konrad. The former multiple times World Champion is appearing in the race with the main objective of taking once again the Green jersey of the points classification as he did in 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2018.

"Everyone knows what my goals are, they're the same every year," the Slovak rider commented. "But, as every year, it won't necessarily be easy to achieve these aims. Of course, it would be nice to become the first rider to win the green jersey seven times. But I'm not thinking about that just yet.

"It's a long road to Paris, and anything can happen along the way. We've brought a strong team to the race, and also want to mix things up in the general classification, and I have great confidence in the guys. We'll see how it goes, and we'll do our utmost to fight for wins."

Buchmann and Konrad will be the General Classification men for the race. The aim of the team is to take the Green Jersey, one stage win and manage that one rider finishes in the top-ten of the overall standing.
