Tour de France - Egan Bernal: Today I am the happiest guy in the world

Team Ineos' Egan Bernal has become the first Colombian and the youngest rider in 100 years to win the Tour de France.
The Colombian rider successfully finished the 21st stage of the Tour de France, keeping the Yellow Jersey until the end. It was a day of celebration of Bernal in which he got to have a glass of champagne with his team and getting a big reception by his compatriots and his family at the Champs-Elysees.
"It’s incredible, I don’t know what to say," commented the rider at the end of the stage. "I’ve won the Tour but I don’t manage to believe it. I need a couple of days to assimilate all this. It’s for my family and I just want to hug them. It’s a feeling of happiness that I don’t know how to describe it. This is the first Tour for us, Colombians. Many Colombians have tried before, we’ve had great cyclists in the past. But I’m the first one to win the Tour! Colombia deserves it."
"I should say thank you to all my team. Thank you G for the opportunity and all the team for the support and believing in me. Today I am the happiest guy in the world. I just won the Tour de France. I can’t believe it."
