Team Dimension Data
Team Dimension Data has announced its roster for the upcoming Tour de Pologne, which includes Mark Cavendish.
The African team will tackle the seven stages of the Polish race with a roster that is headlined by Mark Cavendish for the first three stages -which are suitable for the fast men, Ben O'Connor and Enrico Gasparotto -who will take over the leadership when the race heads to the hills.
"Tour of Poland is always one of those exciting races with short stages, fast sprints and steep explosive racing where positioning is crucial on the narrow roads," said O'Connor. "We have men for every stage, so I see no reason why we can’t fight for stage wins this week."
This will be the debut of Stefan de Bod in the Polish WorldTour race. "I'm really looking forward to another World tour experience with some highly experienced teammates," commented the young rider. "With every race I'm developing, and I try to build on what I'm learning. I'm also very excited to see what we as a team can achieve in the coming week."
