Deceuninck-Quick-Step's Fabio Jakobsen will show his National jersey of the Netherlands for the first time at the Tour de Pologne.
The Belgian team is ready to face the 76th edition of the Polish race that will mix flat and hilly stages in the first part of the week and three climbing stages for the General Classification contenders. Jakobsen will be sporting his jersey as the new Dutch national champion in the race for the first time.
"We can't wait to see Fabio in his new jersey, which will give him an extra motivation on the stages expected to come down to a mass gallop," said Deceuninck-Quick-Step's sports director Brian Holm.
"James (Knox) impressed last week in Italy and will have the chance to ride for the general classification, Bob (Jungels) will ease back into racing, while the other guys have freedom to join the break. As you can see, we go to Poland with a strong team and are keen on racing aggressively and leaving our mark on the race."
