Movistar confirms signings of Dario Cataldo and Davide Villella

Movistar Team has confirmed the signings of Dario Cataldo and Davide Villella for at least two years.
The Italians are currently riding for Astana and will make the move to the Spanish formation for the seasons 2020 and 2021. Both have shown their talents as all-round riders and have a combined 27 career appearances in the Giro d'Italia and the Vuelta a España.
Cataldo has been in Astana since 2015 and has a palmares that includes stage wins in the Giro d'Italia, the Vuelta a España and the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali, as well as top-five placements in races like the Giro del Trentino-Melinda, the Settimana Internazionale Coppi e Bartali, the Rund um den Henninger Turm and the Tour of Missouri.
Villella has spent the two last years in Astana, where he has shone in the breakaways and has taken victories at the Tour of Almaty and the Japan Cup. The rider also topped the mountain classification at the 2017 Vuelta a España and achieved top-five spots in races like Il Lombardia, the Giro dell' Emilia, the Tre Valli Varesine and the GP Industria & Artigianato.
