Jumbo-Visma is set to start in the Vuelta a España with a strong roster that will be lead by Primoz Roglic.

The Slovenian rider -who finished in the third position of the Giro d'Italia- has been in a specific high altitude training after the decision of skipping the Tour de France and he will have two backup leaders: Steven Kruijswijk and George Bennett. The Dutchman finished in the fourth place of the Spanish race in 2018 while Bennett has already taken top-ten positions in the Vuelta and the Giro d'Italia.

Although at the start of the year Dylan Groenewegen and Timo Roosen were in the provisional list for the Spanish grand tour, the duo has been replaced by Roglic and Tony Martin due to the limited sprint chances and the GC ambitions of the team.

Jumbo-Visma's roster for the Vuelta a España (August 28-September 15):

Primoz Roglic
George Bennett
Sepp Kuss
Lennard Hofstede
Steven Kruijswijk
Tony Martin
Robert Gesink
Neilson Powless
