OVO Energy Tour of Britain confirms presence of Dylan Groenewegen, Matteo Trentin and Ben Hermans

The OVO Energy Tour of Britain has announced part of the riders that will take part in the 2019 edition of the race.
The organisation of the British race has announced some of the riders that will headline in the upcoming edition of the competition. One of them is the four-time Tour de France stage winner Dylan Groenewegen (Jumbo-Visma) -who will be starting in the Tour of Britain for the third time of his career.
Another of the star riders that will be in the race is Matteo Trentin -who has won stages in the Giro d'Italia, the Tour de France and the Vuelta a España. The Italian rider will have the company Cameron Meyer in the Mitchelton-Scott's roster for the race.
Israel Cycling Academy's Ben Hermans will make an appearance in the race after winning two stages and the overall classification at the Tour of Utah. The Belgian will aim to continue a successful season in which he has taken the victory of the Tour of Austria and finished in the second position of Adriatica Ionica.
All these riders will join Mathieu van der Poel (Corendon Circus) who has already announced his participation earlier in the year. The OVO Energy Tour of Britain will kick off at the George Square in Glasgow on September 7 and finished in Greater Manchester for the first time in history on September 14.
