Ecuador and Norway have announced their rosters for the upcoming road race of the World Championships of Yorkshire.

The South American selection will be led by the winner of the 2019 Giro d'Italia Richard Carapaz. The rider has solved the visa problems that kept him out of the OVO Tour of Britain and is looking forward to keeping testing his shape after suffering from a crash that left him out of the Vuelta a España.

Carapaz will be joined by Jonathan Caicedo (EF Education First), Jefferson Alexander Cepeda, and Jhonatan Narvaez (Ineos).

The Norwegian Federation also announced the list of riders that will start in the World Championships. The Scandinavian country is taking a strong selection with several options to fight for the World title, that will be decided over a route that favours the classics type of riders.

Sven Erik Bystrom will be joined by Alexander Kristoff, Vegard Stake Laengen (UAE-Team Emirates), Edvald Boasson Hagen, Carl Fredrik Hagen and the current Norwegian champion Amund Groendahl Jansen (Jumbo-Visma).

The road race of the World Championships will be held on the 29th of September.
