Bahrain-Merida has announced the contract extensions of Yukiya Arashiro, Chun Kai Feng, Luka Pibernik and Domen Novak.
"All four riders have been with our team since its launch, and we're thrilled that they will continue to be part of its future direction with Rod Ellingworth and McLaren," commented the team's General Manager Brent Copeland.
"They are a mix of young and experienced riders, that have shown their dedication to teamwork. We will continue to help them thrive in the sport as we have seen how much sacrifice they put into training and racing."
Arashiro is possibly the main cycling star from Japan and despite having a training accident earlier in the season, he has already returned to the peloton. Taiwanese rider Chun Kai Feng took two medals in the Asian Championships and took once more the time trial national title and is looking forward to the next season, where he will debut in a grand tour and participate in the Olympic Games of Tokyo.
Novak claimed his first Slovenian road title in June, after taking the second position in 2018, and has extended his contract for two more seasons. His fellow countryman Pibernik will continue his development in the team and playing a key part in the support of the team captains in 2020.
