Jumbo-Visma is finishing a very successful season with Dylan Groenewegen provisionally as the rider with the most victories and Primoz Roglic on the top of the UCI World Ranking.

Groenewegen has ended his season with a victory at the Tacx Pro Classic ahead of Elia Viviani and Arvid de Kleijn. This was the Dutchman's 50th victory as a professional rider and his fifteenth win of the season, which makes him provisionally the rider with the most triumphs while the competition year finishes in Asia.

Roglic finished his season in Il Lombardia, where he crossed the line in the seventh position. The Slovenian will finish the year at the top of the UCI world ranking after taking the victories at the Vuelta a España, the Tre Valli Varesine, the Giro dell'Emilia, the Tour de Romandia, Tirreno-Adriatico and the UAE-Tour.

"We were very motivated to win here and we showed that," said Roglic at the end of Il Lombardia. "When I'm in shape and up to speed, it's hard to beat me. I can look back on a good season and I am happy that I was able to finish this season with a victory. The fact that I am the rider with the most UCI victories this season is nice, even if they are just statistics.

"This was my most successful season to date. Last week, I also showed that I am able to compete for the win in one-day races. But above all, I am most happy with the fact that I am finishing the season as number one in the world."
