Enric Mas is set to ride his last race with Deceuninck-Quick-Step at the Tour of Guangxi, in China.

The Spaniard became a professional rider at the Belgian formation in 2017 and there he won stages in races like the Vuelta a España and Itzulia Basque country, as well as taken overall victories at the Tour de Savoie Mont Blanc and the Volta ao Alentejo. The 24-year-old will rider from 2020 until at least 2022 with Movistar.

Mas will lead Deceuninck-Quick-Step at the Chinese Tour of Guangxi and this will be his last outing with the formation. "It's a shame that we don't have Alvaro Hodeg here, who would have been a protagonist on the flat stages, but we have a back-up plan for the bunch sprints and we are quite confident we can score some nice results in the Tour of Guangxi," said sports director Geert Van Bondt.

"You can be sure that we'll try to do something, as we are motivated to end the season on a high and do a good general classification with Enric, who showed in the Italian Classics last week that he can stay with the best riders in the world and is really motivated for this race."

Deceuninck-Quick-Step's roster for Gree-Tour of Guangxi (October 17-22):

Rémi Cavagna
Mikkel Honoré
Iljo Keisse
Davide Martinelli
Enric Mas
Pieter Serry
Petr Vakoc
