Trek-Segafredo's Bauke Mollema is scheduled to ride the 2020 Tour de France. The Dutchman will be joined by Richie Porte, while teammate Vincenzo Nibali focuses on the Giro d'Italia.

If all goes according to plan, Mollema and Nibali will then meet at the Vuelta a España.

This will be Mollema's tenth consecutive Tour de France. The rider achieved his best GC finish in 2013 (6th) and went on to get top-ten placements in 2014 and 2015.

The 33-year-old will start 2020 with renewed confidence after having earned a huge victory at the Giro di Lombardia this year, in addition to a win at the Japan Cup, a fifth place at the Giro d'Italia and a sixth spot at La Fleche Wallonne.

Nibali, meanwhile, will attempt the Giro once again after finishing on the podium in all of his last six participations in the Italian grand tour, having won the race in 2013 and 2016.

Porte will hope to improve from a somewhat disappointing debut season at Trek-Segafredo. The Australian rode the Tour de France but failed to finish in the top ten (11th).
