Team Ineos' Chris Froome through a tweet has cleared the rumours that have been circulating about his health.
On the last days, there have been rumours about the health of the rider and some of them pointed out to a set back in his recovery, which would have forced him to leave the first winter camp earlier than expected. The rider felt forced to come clean and explain in his own words through Twitter.
"Hope that I can set this straight, I was last at a training camp at the beginning of December," wrote Froome on his social media account. "My recovery is going well and I will be heading to my next training camp on Thursday."
The four-time Tour de France winner crashed during a recon of the time trial route of the 2019 Criterium du Dauphine. The accident finished his season and left him with a fracture in the right femur, a fractured elbow, fractured ribs and neck.
